The Central Pennsylvania Congressional Internship Association (CPACIA) is currently accepting applications for its Summer 2024 Internship Program. 

​

This internship gives students the opportunity to see first-hand what transpires in a Congressional office. Interns typically serve full time for 10 consecutive weeks in the Summer between starting in May and ending in July, spending the majority of time working in one of the 10th Congressional District Offices in Pennsylvania, and 2 to 4 weeks working in the District of Columbia depending on available funding and accommodations.  

 

During the course of the 10-week program, interns participate fully in the duties of the office.  Interns are given the opportunity to attend hearings, as well as sessions of the House and the Senate, and to interact with other government agencies and constituents.

Details, schedule, compensation, and arrangements for the 2024 internship program are subject to change; however, the CPACIA typically sponsors two interns.

Requirements:

• An applicant's permanent address must be within Pennsylvania's 10th Congressional District, which includes Dauphin County and parts of Cumberland and York counties.

• An applicant must have completed a minimum of one full year of undergraduate studies by the program start date (May 2024).
