The Central PA Congressional Internship Association

The Central PA Congressional Internship Association was created in 1977 as a community involvement initiative to provide financial sponsorship for college students from the 4th Congressional District of Pennsylvania, now the 10th Congressional District, to work in the offices of our Congressman each summer.

​

This internship gives students a chance to be a part of the political process, with opportunities to attend congressional hearings, interact with constituents, research policy issues and provide support services to staff in district and in D.C.

Since its inception, the internship program and the Executive Committee have been extremely successful in annually sending a significant number of enthusiastic students to Washington for a first-class, first-hand experience with their government.
